One thing I haven’t talked about much on this site is the gear testing that the Drunken Marmot and I do with BackpackGearTest.org.
I’ve been involved with the site as a tester and Test Call Moderator for over four years, and David has been a regular tester for almost two years, I think. BGT is an all-volunteer organization, and anyone who gets out hiking regularly, even weekend warriors, can be testers.
More after the jump.
The items I have tested so far are:
- Wilderness Press PCT Guides
- Psolar.EX Mask
- Ibex Guide Lite Pants
- Wild Roses Sedona Rose P Tights

- Jetboil PCS

Anyways, I’ll stat posting here when one of us posts a report on gear. Hopefully some of the traffic that comes to this site for photos will find some useful information about gear, too!
If you want to know how to become a gear tester, send me an email and I’ll get you started.
