I decided I needed a good hike on Saturday - something a bit challenging, but that I would still enjoy. I chose the ‘Trifecta’ of peaks from Ed Levin County Park - Monument Peak to Mission Peak (passing by Allison Peak along the way). It was a perfect day to be out - overcast enough that the sun wasn’t painful, and just the right temperature in the mid 60s with no wind. Pictures are here: Mission Peak Trifecta.

Wow, I’ve hiked there dozens of times and never seen the plane crash wreckage.

It’s just a couple hundred feet off of the Monument Peak Trail at around 1800 ft. There is actually a geocache planted there which is what brought my attention to it. I can send you the GPS coords if you’d like - send me an email through the contact link.
