Hike profile
The hike to Mt Sizer isn't short, no matter which way you approach it. I took a *slightly* longer way around by making the loop through Poverty Flat. 17 miles with 6000 ft of up and down and the GPS track to prove it! Ouch!

Morning fog
I started my hike at 8:15 am as the morning fog cleared off and the sun came out.

Starting down to Poverty Flat.
I remember hiking up this road when I was a beginner hiker and in not very good hiking shape. It was miserable and was the reason I chose to take the loop in this direction, so I could go DOWN!

Lupines and Coe views
Henry Coe trails are a lot of up and down over ridges, a couple of which can be seen in this photo.
