November 23, 2006: Thanksgiving at Panamint Springs

A few snapshots from our Thanksgiving drive through Death Valley - we left Las Vegas at ~9:30 am, stopped in Pahrump for fireworks and drugs...err, I mean food and gas, arrived in Panamint Springs for their awesome Thanksgiving Dinner at 2:30, then left for the long dirt road drive over Hunter Mountain at 3 and ultimately got to camp to meet our group at Lost Burro Gap at 5 pm.

	After dinner we started the ~2 hour drive to camp over Hunter Mountain The road was fine (marked as 4x4 or high clearance, depending on the map and the time of year), but we kept pulling over to take photos of the Panamint Dunes below.
